Register your instrument.

If you own a De Gattis — bought from me, from a dealer or second-hand — register it. The workshop register keeps the history of each instrument in one place: it lets me follow yours over the years for service and spare parts, tell you when something concerns your model, and it leaves you a documented provenance the day you decide to pass it on.

No field is required. If you cannot find the serial number, or cannot remember the date, leave it blank and send it anyway: an instrument registered halfway is worth infinitely more than one I do not know exists.
