Gladiator
Handed over to Russell Crowe at the Magna Grecia Film Festival in Catanzaro. The pickguard is a gladiator helmet, inlaid into the wood rather than painted on top of it.
Body and neck come from a single piece of chestnut, naturally seasoned for half a century, and the fretboard from a walnut of the same age. The pickups are wound in the workshop. The finish is oil, brushed on the old way.
